Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Parentra ("Parentra," "we," "us," or "our") regarding your use of the Parentra mobile application for iOS, our website at parentracker.com, and any related services (collectively, the "Service").

By creating an account, downloading, or using Parentra, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) and have the legal authority to enter into these Terms on your own behalf or on behalf of a child in your care. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

If you download Parentra from the Apple App Store, your use of the app is also subject to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement ("Apple EULA"). In the event of a conflict between these Terms and the Apple EULA, the Apple EULA controls solely with respect to your use of the iOS app obtained through the App Store.

• Parentra is licensed, not sold, to you for use on Apple-branded products that you own or control, as permitted by the Apple EULA and App Store Usage Rules.
• Apple is not responsible for the Service or its content, maintenance, support, warranty, or product claims, including consumer protection or regulatory claims relating to Parentra.
• In the event of any failure of Parentra to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any) for the app to you; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the app.
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you as a third-party beneficiary of the Apple EULA.

Questions about billing, subscriptions, or refunds for purchases made through the App Store must be directed to Apple in accordance with Apple's policies.

Parentra is a baby-care companion that helps parents and caregivers log and review daily routines such as feeding, sleep, diaper changes, growth measurements, and developmental milestones. The Service also provides personalized sleep programs and a program builder, age-aware sleep information and articles, reminders, home-screen widgets, a community where parents can share and browse programs, a forum, and AI-assisted coaching, AI analysis, and voice features based on information you choose to enter.

Parentra is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Content in the app—including sleep guidance, AI responses, and articles—is for general informational and organizational purposes only. Always consult a qualified pediatrician or healthcare professional about your child's health, feeding, illness, or sleep safety.

You may sign in using Apple, Google, or email and password through Firebase Authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account.

You agree to provide accurate information during onboarding and to keep baby profile details reasonably up to date. You may invite a partner, relative, or caregiver to access a shared baby profile using invite codes or links provided by the Service. You are responsible for who you invite and what access you grant.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws.
• Upload content that is abusive, infringing, or that you do not have rights to share.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, overload, or interfere with the Service or its security.
• Use the Service to store or transmit sensitive health records required by law to be handled under specific clinical standards, unless you have independently verified compliance.
• Misrepresent your identity or your relationship to a child profile.
• Post community programs, forum messages, or shared content that is unlawful, harassing, misleading, medically dangerous, infringing, or that you do not have the right to share, or that reveals another person's private information without authorization.

When you publish content to the community marketplace or forum, you make it visible to other users. We may review, moderate, remove, or restrict community content, and we may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or created risk for other users or the Service.

Parentra may offer AI-assisted chat, sleep-session analysis, program suggestions, and Voice Coach features. When you use them, relevant context from the baby profile, recent logs, completed sleep sessions, and the active program may be processed to generate responses. Voice Coach requires microphone access and your separate choice to enable it for a guided session. Short clips that pass the on-device speech gate may be sent to Google Gemini for understanding; Parentra does not save those audio clips.

The Assistant may suggest a small program revision, but it does not apply a change unless you expressly approve the before-and-after proposal. A suggested replacement method must be reviewed through the program builder before activation. You remain responsible for deciding whether any suggestion is appropriate for your family.

AI output can be incomplete or inaccurate and must not be treated as medical advice or emergency guidance. Do not rely on AI responses in urgent or life-threatening situations—contact local emergency services or your healthcare provider instead.

Some features rely on third-party providers (for example, cloud hosting, authentication, push notifications, analytics infrastructure, and voice/AI vendors). Your use of those features is also subject to those providers' terms and privacy practices, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Parentra offers free and paid features, including optional premium subscriptions. It may also offer consumable Voice Coach credit packages. Product availability and purchase status are managed through Adapty, while billing is processed by the app stores. Current prices, billing periods, package sizes, usage limits, and included features are shown in the app before purchase.

• Purchases through the Apple App Store are processed by Apple and governed by Apple's payment terms and the Apple EULA linked above.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period through your platform account settings.
• Voice Coach credits are consumable, non-renewing purchases. One credit activates one eligible guided sleep session, for up to the session duration and subject to the usage limits shown in the app. A credit is claimed when the Voice Coach session is securely created; duplicate requests do not consume an additional credit.
• Consumable credits are not subscriptions and generally cannot be restored like a non-consumable entitlement. Verified refunds or purchase reversals may remove the corresponding unused credits from your balance.
• Promotional offers, such as discounts presented through in-app mechanics (for example a discount wheel), are optional, may be limited in time or availability, and do not create any entitlement beyond the offer shown at purchase.
• Where available, you may use "Restore purchases" to recover prior App Store or Play Store subscription and non-consumable entitlements on a supported device signed into the same store account.

You retain ownership of the information, photos, videos, notes, and other content you submit to Parentra ("User Content"). You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, process, display, and transmit User Content solely to operate, improve, secure, and provide the Service—including syncing shared baby profiles with invited caregivers and generating insights or AI responses you request.

You represent that you have all rights necessary to submit User Content, including photos or videos of your child, and that sharing it through Parentra complies with applicable law. If you publish a program or post to the community or forum, you grant us and other users a license to view, use, and (for programs) copy and adapt that shared content within the Service. You are responsible for the content you make public and can remove your shared content where the app provides that option.

Our Privacy Policy is an information notice explaining how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information. Required and optional consents are requested separately in the app.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PARENTRA DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that logs, reminders, AI responses, or guidance will meet your expectations or produce any particular outcome for your child's sleep, feeding, or development.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PARENTRA AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD $50, EXCEPT WHERE SUCH LIMITATIONS ARE PROHIBITED BY LAW.

You may stop using Parentra at any time. You may delete your account from within the app where available; deletion removes your authentication account and triggers server-side cleanup of associated data according to our Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or terminate the Service or your access if required by law, if you materially breach these Terms, or if continued operation creates security or legal risk. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including disclaimers, limitations of liability, and governing law.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice within the app or on our website. Continued use after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance, except where applicable law requires additional consent.

The Service is provided by Yusuf Koçer, established at Istanbul. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence require otherwise. How we process personal data, including under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) and the GDPR, is described in our Privacy Policy.
