Terms of Use

Effective date: June 3, 2026. These Terms govern your access to and use of the Parentra mobile application and related services.

1. Agreement to these Terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Parentra ("Parentra," "we," "us," or "our") regarding your use of the Parentra mobile application for iOS and Android, our website at parentracker.com, and any related services (collectively, the "Service").

By creating an account, downloading, or using Parentra, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) and have the legal authority to enter into these Terms on your own behalf or on behalf of a child in your care. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Apple App Store and Apple EULA

If you download Parentra from the Apple App Store, your use of the app is also subject to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement ("Apple EULA"). In the event of a conflict between these Terms and the Apple EULA, the Apple EULA controls solely with respect to your use of the iOS app obtained through the App Store.

  • Parentra is licensed, not sold, to you for use on Apple-branded products that you own or control, as permitted by the Apple EULA and App Store Usage Rules.
  • Apple is not responsible for the Service or its content, maintenance, support, warranty, or product claims, including consumer protection or regulatory claims relating to Parentra.
  • In the event of any failure of Parentra to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any) for the app to you; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the app.
  • Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you as a third-party beneficiary of the Apple EULA.

Questions about billing, subscriptions, or refunds for purchases made through the App Store must be directed to Apple in accordance with Apple's policies.

3. What Parentra provides

Parentra is a baby-care companion that helps parents and caregivers log and review daily routines such as feeding, sleep, diaper changes, growth measurements, and developmental milestones. The Service may also provide educational guidance, age-aware sleep information, articles, reminders, and AI-assisted coaching based on information you choose to enter.

Parentra is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Content in the app—including sleep guidance, AI responses, and articles—is for general informational and organizational purposes only. Always consult a qualified pediatrician or healthcare professional about your child's health, feeding, illness, or sleep safety.

4. Accounts and eligibility

You may sign in using Apple, Google, or email and password through Firebase Authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account.

You agree to provide accurate information during onboarding and to keep baby profile details reasonably up to date. You may invite a partner, relative, or caregiver to access a shared baby profile using invite codes or links provided by the Service. You are responsible for who you invite and what access you grant.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws.
  • Upload content that is abusive, infringing, or that you do not have rights to share.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, overload, or interfere with the Service or its security.
  • Use the Service to store or transmit sensitive health records required by law to be handled under specific clinical standards, unless you have independently verified compliance.
  • Misrepresent your identity or your relationship to a child profile.

We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or created risk for other users or the Service.

6. AI, voice features, and third-party services

Parentra may offer AI-assisted chat and voice onboarding or coaching features. When you use these features, relevant context from your baby profile and recent logs may be processed to generate responses. Voice features require microphone access on your device.

AI output can be incomplete or inaccurate and must not be treated as medical advice or emergency guidance. Do not rely on AI responses in urgent or life-threatening situations—contact local emergency services or your healthcare provider instead.

Some features rely on third-party providers (for example, cloud hosting, authentication, push notifications, analytics infrastructure, and voice/AI vendors). Your use of those features is also subject to those providers' terms and privacy practices, as described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Subscriptions and purchases

Parentra may offer free and paid features, including optional premium subscriptions or in-app purchases. Prices, billing periods, and included features will be shown in the app before purchase.

  • Purchases through the Apple App Store are processed by Apple and governed by Apple's payment terms and the Apple EULA linked above.
  • Purchases through Google Play are processed by Google and governed by Google Play's terms.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period through your platform account settings.
  • Where available, you may use "Restore purchases" to recover prior App Store or Play Store entitlements on a supported device signed into the same store account.

8. Your content and license to us

You retain ownership of the information, photos, videos, notes, and other content you submit to Parentra ("User Content"). You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, process, display, and transmit User Content solely to operate, improve, secure, and provide the Service—including syncing shared baby profiles with invited caregivers and generating insights or AI responses you request.

You represent that you have all rights necessary to submit User Content, including photos or videos of your child, and that sharing it through Parentra complies with applicable law.

9. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information. By using Parentra, you also agree to the Privacy Policy.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PARENTRA DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that logs, reminders, AI responses, or guidance will meet your expectations or produce any particular outcome for your child's sleep, feeding, or development.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PARENTRA AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD $50, EXCEPT WHERE SUCH LIMITATIONS ARE PROHIBITED BY LAW.

12. Termination and account deletion

You may stop using Parentra at any time. You may delete your account from within the app where available; deletion removes your authentication account and triggers server-side cleanup of associated data according to our Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or terminate the Service or your access if required by law, if you materially breach these Terms, or if continued operation creates security or legal risk. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including disclaimers, limitations of liability, and governing law.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice within the app or on our website. Continued use after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance, except where applicable law requires additional consent.

14. Governing law and contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence require otherwise.
